The Board Members of Community Development Alliance are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure CDA-Ghana has adequate resources to advance its mission. The basic responsibility of the Trustees is to exercise their judgment to act in what they reasonably believe to be in the best interests of the organization.

  • Determine CDA’s Values, Vision, Mission and standards for the establishment and observance of high ethical standards;
  • Establish a framework for monitoring, and periodic independent evaluation of performance and financial accountability of activities conducted by the organisation.
  • Setting the strategic direction of CDA and monitoring the implementation of that strategy by the Executive Director
  • Oversight of CDA, including its control and accountability systems;
  • Review, evaluate and approve compensation as it relates to senior management of CDA.
  • Appointing and removing the Executive Director
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of the organisation
  • Review and approve significant changes in the organisation’s structure and operations.
